Yep, they did the same thing to me too. I should have researched the company because of the huge amount of SCAM complaints about Carvinchecks.com. I just thought it would give me an overview of the VIN number for the car I was interested in for $2.95. I didn't expect a whole Carfax report. Anyways, there was nowhere on the form that they would charge anything else like the $29.95. Since I check my account every morning, I see there are pending Charges for both $2.95 and $29.95. I called my bank and I have to wait until the charges are processed. I had my CC card re-issued with new numbers to be safe because you never know if these people are sharing your information. Then, it may take 30 days to get my money back. Oh yeh, there is no human way possible to ever get in contract with CarVinChecks.com as they are a ghost.
