Received services from "Columbia Podiatry LLC, 305 Keene St, STE 209, Columbia, MO 65201-6623". Received their Statement, dated 12/15, on approximately 01/06, in an envelope bearing my hand written name and address. Apparently, their "Billing Service" sent the Statement to an address that I had used while on vacation in New Mexico. I fervently contend that the Statement had initially been mailed to the New Mexico, address. The Statement's physical layout is that of one to be mailed in a WINDOW ENVELOPE that would have resulted in it being sent to the NEW MEXICO address. COLUMBIA PODIATRY at 305 Keene St, STE 209, Columbia, MO 65201-6623, had my home address which is 105 E. Wigham St., Apt. 59, Centralia, MO 65240 on file for billing purposes. I "NEVER" gave them the New Mexico, Address. So I assume that the Billing Company took it upon themselves to locate that address. HERE lies the MAJOR PROBLEM. I Strongly Argue that the only way they could have obtained that New Mexico address was by unlawfully, and without my consent, accessed my PERSONAL CREDIT FILES. My Account with Columbia Podiatry was paid, in part, as agreed to by all parties. SMB Medical Billing should have NEVER acquired, nor made PUBLIC, the New Mexico address. That address was obtained from MY Personal Information, and for them to make it available to the public is an infringement on my privacy, and could have a negative effect on my future ability to obtain credit, which in turn could result in a loss of an unknown amount of dollars which could aide in my right to pursue happiness and maintain my health.
