I had seen the advertisement about eggies on TV and it sounded so easy. I told my Son that I think I would like to order this.
For my birthday my Son surprised me with 2 sets of eggies from the TV offer. I was excited and tried them and what a disappointment! Today I thought I must be doing something wrong so I tried this again. Well, first I oiled all the parts from the directions. Then I boiled the water in a large pot and turned it down to a softer boil. When I cracked the eggs it was very hard to hit the small hole with out the egg going all over. Some of the egg-yokes were too large and I had to push them down with my finger.
I was already exhausted after this step. Then after I assembled the cups tightly as stated in the directions, I carefully put them in the water. They did cook however I did have to use a plastic spoon to get them out. The worst part is cleaning the 4 parts of each cup! I had to take them all apart and use a toothbrush all around and inside the cracks, where eggs had stuck. I cooked 6 eggies cups which is 24 pieces to scrub with a toothbrush, and still they did not look clean enough! I was worn out! If this was the only way to cook eggs, I would never eat any! Wast of time and money and very very frustrating! I haven't told my Son about this yet.
