Our studio received it too and just to make it clear for people who don't know any better, exchanging money for yoga and a sexual relationship is not considered normal in any yoga school! Being in the business for over 20 years, if he was let go from all these established yoga studios, then there had to be a reason in the first place or else he'd still be there. The yoga business is very competitive and instructors are always looking for a home studio to be based out of since it adds to their credibility. Studios want to keep their best instructors who have a following because they bring in money and a loyal clientele. The risk of posting potentially slanderous material, even if slightly true, is not worth it. This individual is either convincing enough that people are blindsided by what he says and does or these accusations are false. He may be an excellent instructor, but life off the mat is just as important as life on it. The fact that there are individuals who are angry enough to post about him and file complaints about him, online and off, shows that this person has missed the mark on the Yamas and Niyamas and in fact, is not really practicing yoga. If that were the case, he would have been practicing non-violence, in speech, thought and action and corrected those actions particularly to those they were directed against and it is clear he has not because these postings show no peace has been acheived on either side.
