I recently applied for a loan on the internet. I didnt finish any of the apps because they wanted all of my banking information without speaking to anyone or even knowing if I was approved. About an hour later I got a phone call from a foreign man I could barely understand, who proceeded to tell me I was approved for a loan for $1500. I am a father of five and the only provider for my family due to my wife being diagnosed with cancer. I am a roofer so the winter months are very hard espically with the holidays. We are about to lose our house so I was very desperate. I gave this man all of my banking information along with my social security number. Now I cant seem to get a hold of anyone. I let my bank know the situation but due to the fact that I gave them an over the phone approval they are not sure if they can adjust anything. I dont know what to do and I am more than scared for myself as well as my family. I do not know what to do. Can someone please let me know if they were able to do anything about this.
