The website states "ghd the official retailer" - it is NOT!
I purchased gold IV straighteners on 1.10.11, my credit card was debited by www.ctoshops on 5.10.11 and the product arrived on 9.11.10.
By 14.12.11 the straighteners were starting to smell of burning and a plate was coming loose.
I went back to the site and emailed for a refund - still awaiting reply!
I contacted ghd in the UK and gave them the holographic information and they stated it was likely to be a counterfeit product.
