I was contacted by a Timeshare Resale/Rental company called Luxury Capital Group out of Seattle, WA. They said they were accredited through Dunn & Bradstreet, however I contacted D & B directly and spoke with a representative. The rep researched Luxury Capital Group and could not find anything out about them.in other words, they are NOT listed or accredited through D & B. That was a red flag. D & B did not have any information about this company. I spoke with Beverly Water at Luxury Capital Group and she referred to herself as the VP of Acquisitions. She made it clear that she was not offering to purchase my timeshare, although I was somewhat confused at our conversations because she led me to believe that she does business with companies who are looking to rent timeshares at extraordinary prices. I understood that she represented companies who want to rent/lease timeshares from private owners (red flag). If companies wanted to rent/lease/purchase timeshares, it seems they would go directly to the timeshare company such as Disney, Wyndham, Worldmark, Marriott, or anyone of many other timeshare companies to purchase or lease time. My wife alerted me that there is substantial risk in doing business with Luxury Capital Group so we're choosing to retain and use our timeshare. If you do business with this company, you should consider the potential risks and review the other complaints about this company.
