Dear Friends on Rip off report,
I'm just writting this report in the hope of helping other consumers that could quite easily be ripped off by a misleading TV advert there is a company out there be the name of National Collectors mint they've recently been advertising on TV claiming to have 2012 Buffalo coins at a huge discount of $9.95 from ($50) previously, plus postage and handling. What consumers need to be careful of is that the gold they claim it contains is only 14 mg a mg is actually only a 1000th of a g so doing the maths there are approximatly 31.8 g's to 1 oz, an oz of gold is worth around $1600 at todays spot price so 1 gram (g) is 1/31 of an oz making 1 (mg) 1/3100 of an oz so doing the maths divide 3100 into $1600 and you get the true value of the coin which makes it worth about $ 0.51 c.
True buffalo coins can be purchased by reputable companies such as APMEX (American precious metals exchange) US mint etc etc Real American Buffalo coins come in about 4 sizes 1oz $50 they are stamped (1 oz. 9999 fine gold), (1/2 oz $25), (1/4 oz $10), (1/10 oz $5) so it is buyer beware if they are thinking of buying these coins at some ridiculously cheap price the truth is even at $9.95 there getting ripped off.
