I'm happy to write and say what a pleasant experience I had with PODS! Packing boxes and making sure all of the other little things are taken care of when moving is more than enough of a headache. Trying to load up everything on a truck, rush it to your new location, get it all unloaded and get the truck returned in a day or two is a BIG headache! So I'm so happy to say there is a NEW solution... PODS.
I noticed their containers after Hurricane Katrina. I thought it was a great idea to be able to have a big storage box right in your driveway and take your time. So when we needed to move I decided to compare the usual moving ideas. I knew that a "moving service" was way too expensive. So I compared the "rental truck" and PODS. There was NO comparison!
From the very beginning it was a great experience! I found everything I needed to know about their service on-line. I could have called them on the phone, but there was never a need (except when I wanted to ask about changing my dates). The price was definitely RIGHT and instead of having to do it all in a couple of days, we were able to take our time both packing and unpacking. We didn't have to live in a "world of boxes" while we packed or unpacked. The employees of PODS were all friendly, courteous and helpful, from the telephone personnel to the delivery men.
I just can't say enough good things about PODS! I will call them again. Thank you PODS for taking the headache out of moving!
