I purchased two female puppies via BK's Chihuahuas in March. Payment was required in full and was nonrefundable. Brenda promised both puppies would be delivered healthy and would have registered papers with AKC and CKC with them.
Two weeks before I was to pick them up, Brenda notified me one puppy had died and I could choose another, which I did. To my horror, the week I was to pick those two pups up, she informed me the new puppy I chose, had also died.
Again I chose another puppy, but it was a month younger and I would have to wait 4 more weeks for him. I picked up the first puppy and was assured over the phone, that her papers would accompany her. She didn't have the papers when I got there.
Brenda made up all sorts of excuses and promised her papers would be delivered when I picked up the next puppy in 4 more weeks. Same story, no papers for either puppy. Brenda claimed she hadn't registered my puppies mother and it would be very costly for her to do, but that she would do so.
By not registering the parent, there was no way the puppy would be registered. She advertised they were AKC & CKC registered, and I downloaded both parents webpage as posted so I would have proof of here false promises.
More importantly, when I picked the second puppy up, she claimed he was car sick. I took him to the vet the very next day and was informed he had a bacterial infection that was commonly attributed to puppy mills and filth.
I almost lost that puppy and I notified Brenda immediately. She has chosen to ignore my constant emails regarding the registrations and made no attempt to compensate my $250 vet bill. Her web page should be shut down, as she falsely advertised promises she had no intentions of keeping. The fact the puppies were sick, didn't matter to Brenda, she had my money for months before I received my puppies.
I am very curious as to how many people have purchased puppies via her website expecting them to be healthy and registered. I know that there were at least three puppies in the first litter and three in the second litter of the two puppies I purchased.
That means four other people besides myself have not received their papers. When I picked up my second puppy, a woman from Ashland was in a restaurant across the way and came over after Miss Mattson left.
This woman informed she had purchased two puppies, both of which died in a week of delivery and both had no papers at time of delivery. Brenda claims to be 100% in compliance. I'd like to see proof.
Her website leads you to believe she is legitimate and breeds Chihuahuas in good faith. She definitely should be sued for false advertising and shut down permanently. The dogs are raised in filth and housed one cage on top of the other, all the way around the room.
Turns out she also breed Pomerainins, and poodles in the same kennel. She is a puppy mill of the worst kind.
