Auction Fire, while promising many results, seem like a great idea on the surface. But, they had odd ways of doing business and treating potential customers.
1) One of their Admin. Levv911 - is a total bossy, bullying jerk. I (as a buyer) tried to purchase several items from their auction and had actually won bids on a couple of items. But, the seller never responded, I wrote to Auction Fire and received a response from Levv911, who immediately began a condescending conversation toward me and then gave me a negative rating for questioning their site. That was earlier this year, I immediately cancelled all of my bids and figured time was handle a poor situation.
2) While going through things, I thought maybe I'd try to be a seller (six months later) and maybe hoping they had corrected their problems and were moving forward. I posted several smalls item and then began thinking I would check out their blog. I found the same person Levv911 still blistering people and refusing to answer inquiries or any questions of any substance.
I started checking on the merchandise posted by other users and found none of them had any bids on them. It is true there were several new postings, but none of the older ones had any information to even suggest they had been seen by anyone.
3) Any attempts to contact them are futile, any questions asked are ignored, and don't expect a civil reply if you challenge their activities.
Something should be done to prevent this customer abuse, I know the best thing would be to just ignore them and spread the word. BUT, it has such potential to be a dynamic sight and I hate to impied anything that could be corrected with a personell change or attitude adjustment.
In the meantime, I am going to close my account and move over to a more reliable auction site.
