I was Christmas shopping, so, of course, had some unusual expenditures on my card. When I got home, the bank called me to confirm that I was indeed the one making the purchases. She went through my week's expenses one by one. We came across a charge for $4.45 that was for a company called Autos4U.Biz - phone 407-413-9124. This was an unauthorized debit to my account! I couldn't believe it! The bank explained that sometimes these types of companys will hit your credit card for a small amount to 'test' to see if it's a valid card, then they'll charge what they can on it! They'll do it especially around the holiday season because of increased spending habits and you might miss it, because it's such a small amount. Very scary!!! I had them replace my card immediately and it was sent to their fraud department. They credited the amount. Thank God they were on top of my own spending or it could have been too late.
