Elite Marketing
Tax ripoff, not donations, profit seeking organization, Detroit

So I am an educated college graduate who went on the dreaded Day long interview process with this company.in my suit I traveled an hour to a Staples in Grand Blanc where I sat in the sun all day and watched what my interviewer was doing. Not only did Mike completely lie to all of the people he talked to he often made fun of them once they walked away.

Elite Marketing is a scam and an affiliate of Ds-Max. I was on the interview with two men, one my trainer had worked there for 2 months and the other from Washington had worked for 2 weeks. Throughout the day the trainer Mike would show us a sales pitch of some sorts and Miguel would say something about what if we get caught. Pitch #1 they sold certain educational products and some games for kids, along with free fingerprinting for your kids.

This is why I was so enthusiastic with this company because I thought that they were legit. They also set up a sign that had Child Protection Education of America on it. Mike often told the customers walking in and out that they were with the non profit organization, which Miguel informed was something that they were not supposed to do.

Mike also said that any money that the customer gave to him could be written off their taxes because it was going to a non profit organization, wrong, Elite Marketing is a for profit organization. He often changed the prices of products by what the person looked like, if he thought they could afford more the Barbie sticker collection would be $20, if not he would sell the DNA kit for $10 (which is just a plastic bag by the way.) Mike also took donations from people, but they don't accept Canadian so don't even try that scam on this guy... Then for lunch he took me to Wendy's were he proceeded to tell me that it is pretty much a Triangle scam, the employees say that they only made $50 a year so they don't have to pay taxes on that much (under the table), and that I would get in big trouble if I told his boss any of it.

When I told him that I would not be interested in this position he informed me that I should still say yes and go inside once we were done, later I found out that it was because he got paid for bringing in a "Yes" answer at the end of the night. Then when I was still saying no I don't want to lie and fill out forms he said then don't even go in. Now he didn't want me to go in because I would be filling out a survey on his performance, and he knew at this point I didn't like him. It was so very unprofessional that I just wanted to vomit. He asked me my race, religion, age, if I was married, and he even tried to get me to help them sell stuff. At the end of the night after seeing greed in its worst form, he took the donations from all of these poor people and put it in his pocket because they were over.

I was so upset that I did not go into the building, and now I wish that I had. Considering I am sure that his boss was in on his scam also, I would much rather make sure that everyone knows how insanely wrong this company is.

Do not interview with these people. Do not give them money or buy their products. I don't think that Children Protection Education of America people know what this company is doing to their name but they need to be stopped.in an unethical world we sometimes need a guiding light to carry us through, here is the switch...
