I was online this morning shopping for black friday deals when the dealfun ad popped up advertising crazy deals. I went on the site and — long story short, I signed up to start bidding. I selected a bid package of $99 where they guarantee you the product for that price by continuously re-entering your bid in future auctions until they can get you that deal. As soon as I was ready to start bidding a screen popped up saying the website currently down for "scheduled maintenance" and it showed a timer for how long until the site would be bck up. Once time was up — nothing happened. The site continued to appear "down" with no further explanation. I checked my bank account and the $99 is already "pending" and I have no way of knowing if I've been scammed or not. Does anyone out there know anything about this site? Has anyone ever really received product from them? Feelin pretty stupid now for falling for this. Guess it's time to see if the bank can stop the debit and then I have to close the account to avoid future charges. Grrrrr...
