Looking for a van on craigslist, saw a 2005 town and country van with all the bells and whistles. Janet Leighton was the seller asking 3940.00 for the van. I emailed back and offered her 3400.00. She said she priced it low because she needed to pay her mortgage and that she had just transferred to (Personal Info Removed) MT with her job. She accepted the offer and said eBay would send instructions on how to make the money transfer. EBay sent what seemed to be official documents with an invoice number and an agents name which would handle the case. The agents name was Amy Melissa Pine at (Personal Info Removed). I was instructed to send the money to the agent to be held until i view the vehicle for 5 days. I sent the money through western union and never heard from them again. At that point i realized it was a scam.
