Entered what I thought was a government grant website, considering the website is grant. Gov. To view all available governement grants there was a $2.97 processing fee. Thought $2.97 fee was ok to look at grants available. Then today I noticed my bank acct balance was around $60.00 less then what it should be. After reviewing my transactions I found one for $57.61. I was then terrified, I called the contact number attached to the transaction, and was told that I had subscribed to a government grant kit. I demanded a refund. I was told I would have to submit an email to grants. [email protected]. At that point I knew I had been scammed, no government website is going to have a gmail email acct. Notified my bank, composed email to government fraud department for investigation, and notified the scammers. Please help in making sure no one else falls victim to this scam!!!
