On Sunday (11/14/10) I went on line to purchase a TV stand from Kmart.
I found one that was advertised at $22.49.
However, when I proceeded to checkout, the price jumped to $399.99 and it only qualified for a five percent discount.
I called Kmart at approximately 3 P.M. To order the following item (copied from the site):
Southern Enterprises, Inc.

The sales associates Ali and Eve (Eve was supervisor) would not honor the advertised price. I requested a 50% deduction due to what they were citing as an error.
They verbally took no responsibility or apologize for the error and inconvenience, even when the supervisor witnessed the $22.49 as I directed her to the page. She offered a five (5%) percent discount. This felt like a slap in the face because the company was already giving a 5% dicount for orders and this was not an additional 5%. I have never delt with a company whose customer service was this poor.
