I was looking for a cleanse and saw this product. I clicked on the pop up for the trial offer for $2.99. I did not see any terms or conditions or further pricing etc. I didn't even receive the product as of yet, and I saw the charge listed on recent activity on my Amex card. I was dumbfounded. How can they charge me for a product that 1) I had not even received and 2) Had not even tried.
When I had called Amex to dispute, I had also called the company and they told me it had to be returned in 14 days from order? How can you evaluate a product in 4 days and then get it back by the 14th day. I received my investigatory material from Amex and it said if I returned the product now I would received a refund on my card. I called the company yesterday, 11/9, and they told me that my account was closed and they could not give me an RMA # and then she hung up on me. They are very rude. I called Amex again tonight and they told me to try one more time adn if I received no satisfaction, they would re-open the dispute. I am not going to pay 79.99 for a product I never even opened much less tried. I want my money back. I will never to anything like this ever again.
