On may 9th, I visited the store. This will be the last time I will do this at this location. A man and a woman were working. When I went to order, The woman behind the counter ignored me for a few minutes. She was taking care of a few things, but never offered to recognize me or to tell me "good evening sir, i'll be right with you". I appreciate hard working folks, and would never show impatience while they're doing their hard work. BUT! This woman was thee most rude and have experienced this person in previous visits.
My wife wrote down on paper what she wanted, so I proceeded to ask the woman for a "garden chicken salad" The new special on the menu. Apparently I miss spoke. It was actually an "orchard chicken salad". My fault, but you know, it was a BRAND NEW SPECIAL! She coudn't make the distinction? You think she could have professionaly said
"sir do you mean the orchard chicken salad"??? But instead, she gave me a scowled look and said "no, we don't have anything like that" EXACT QUOTE! Really? Yes you do! It's called an "orchard chicken salad" in which you're tryng to promote! I retreated to the parking lot to call home to ask my wife if she wanted anything else. She said that what she wanted was "the new special" ok, so I went back in and saw the menu above. And I said to her "I thought you said that you didn't have any kind of chicken salad?" as I pointed tward the menu. She said "thats not what you asked for" (with a discusted look on her face) she could have suggested! I mean they almost even sound the same!!!
With a scowled look on her face she proceeded to assist me with an inconvenient attitude. All the while, her Iphone going off and rolling her eyes every time she received a text message. While preparing the sandwich, her head was down and mumbling as she asked me what I wanted, and I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times because I couldn't understand her. She grew more annoyed by this.
Then at the register, she asked me if I wanted drinks and chips while mumbling it. Again I had to ask her to repeat herself, then she let out a breath of frustration with me. Now! When she took my debit card, she was still wearing the plastic gloves, getting food remnance all ove my card. She ran the card as credit, and threw the reciepts on the counter and walked away! I said "exuse me, did you run this as credit?" she turned halfway and said "yea" I said "don't you have anything for me to sign?" she said "naa" I said "yes you do" she did NOTHING and walked away while preceding to unholster her phone to check her massages still wearing her plastic gloves! Her name tag was on the side of her visor so I couldn't see her name. This is the third time I've notice a negative attitude on this person, as well as other family members on other visits.
I have to say, I don't have the time in my schedule to be writing a letter to you like this, and I don't appreciate having to do so! I can't say enough about Subway. We all love it! But for now, Store # 36895 is off limits! And I have no problem advising family and friends about this location, for I would't want them to experience the same.
Looking forward to a change if you see fit. Best wishes!
