My home burned on New Years Eve. This company came to us 2 hours after it happened and told us they can help us by acting as a liason for the insurance company for a 8-10% fee of all claims. We signed a contract with them at that point our insurance company was not able to contact us directly. Our representative did not inform us that we had 180 days to replace all furnishing. Unfortunately we did not find that out until we where denied at $6500.00 claim we sent in to be reimburse for depreciation. NFA sent the receipts to the insurance company. The insurance company sent us a letter saying they know that they are not supposed to contact us directly but have told NFA numerous times that our 180 days was up. So NFA did not know about the 180 days themselves as they did not read the letters. They are not helpful and basically told us to get lost they are not responsible in any way. But they are they where are only communication with our insurance company. We had over $15,000 of money to collect but can't.
