In October my wife received an official looking form that stated she owed $28,896.00. It went on to say, "You may be eligible to resolve your consumer debt within 24-48 Months. Monthly payments as low as $391.3 For Immediate Assistance Call: Southfield Processing Center 1-800-937-6332 Services offered through 800 Zero Debt and Radner Law Firm" Neither my wife, Anna Brasch, or I owe any past due debt. Our debt totals less than $5,000. Thus, I phoned the above number and requested some docs that might validate or support these claims. The responder stated that they first required that I must answer several questions... Such as my wife's date of birth, her social security number, where she works —on and on. My refusal resulted in a threat to have a debt supervisor contact me within 24 hours. The next day a man named Tim phoned and left a voice mail that I should return his call as soon as possible. The phone number Tim left was 248-327 4762. When I reached Tim, he stated that my wife's credit report indicated she was likely to still owe amounts in the area of the above number. This scam effort was very disturbing. I am 80, my wife is 76 and we believe that some action against this group is called for. Please respond.
