After hearing an ad on the radio about a government survey and free grocery vouchers, I called the number. I spoke to a man who identified himself as "Mike Daniels, ID 9480", who confirmed that indeed it was a survey to see how people were feeding their families in these hard economic times. He said for a processing fee of $19.95, I would receive a "package" of food vouchers. I asked lots of questions, which he seemed to have the answers to. Then proceeded to try to sell me a lot of stupid "savings" programs. When I received my "package" yesterday, it was NOT vouchers, it was a membership service to a coupon website. This fact was NOT mentioned in the conversation with "Mike Daniels". I called to get vouchers, NOT a membership with a website. "Mike Daniels" misrepresented this product, as have others, by reading this complaint site. I will be making phone calls today to American Value Grocery and to the BBB in both states. I will also be watching my account to see that the money is put BACK into my account and will continue to watch said account so that money is NOT taken at a later date.
