I am a local business that has decided to use this forum to report a criminal family. For years I have endured the shoplifting from their children but when they bounced a series of checks over a three day period I was finished with them. The teen children visit my store and pay for some of the merchandise while pocketing aka stealing small pieces of candy. I tolerated this for years because I was to embarrassed to tell their parents but the father Alan Delapa passed a rather large BAD check and then his wife Mariann came in the following day with a larger purchase I had to draw the line. Dear San Diego beware of this criminal family preying on local businesses.
