I recieved a phone call in early september from American Publisher's Service, saying i won a $1000 dollar shopping spree, and a years subscription of 3 different magazines for $49.90. After they asked me the questions, they said i would receive a phone call in 15 minutes for confirmation. I never received a call. Well about a mth later they charge me for it, and i recieved a letter a week later about it. The letter states that its $49.90/mth for 20 months. Totalling. $998. I did not sign up for that. And was confused on how they got my number in the first place. I just want to cancel the whole thing bt they said that if u cancel after 7 days of the letter id be charged 80% of $998. Considering i didnt recieved the letter til october 15th, and they sent the letter october 7th. I do not have that kind of money to spend on something i did not want in the first place. I never signed the letter they wanted me to, nor do i have or want the shopping spree. If there is any way someone could help me resolve this issue i would be greatly appreciative.
