RTU Buyers
Consumer Report

A gentleman named Michael Baker, in Macon Georgia phoned me to say he had a buyer for my timeshare unit. He faxed me a letter of intent which listed the property, how much the offer was for, the names of the purchasers etc. I was asked to send $266.11 via Western Union to a party named Lorenzo Morjon in Daytona Beach who he intimated was his partner in the Florida office. The fee was to cover title search and city/county transfer tax. I did so but several hours later I got a phone call requesting another $100 because apparently the State of Florida had made a mistake in quoting the cost of the title search. At that point alarm bells went off and I started googling RTU Buyers only to find out that other people had been scammed in the same way. So I phoned the Macon police and asked them if there was such an address as 248 Tom Hill SR Blvd in Macon, GA. There is a street named that but there is NO #248!!! Crazy thing is they have this nice website with that address listed on it and all these testimonials but of course nothing about the owners of the business etc. I have contacted my police department and we'll see if they can find out anything. I can't believe someone would go to this much trouble for a few hundred dollars. It's the principal of the thing that is the reason i want justice.
