I Received a solicitation to be a "Secret Shopper". Earn $200. For each business evaluation performed. I accepted because I desperately need money to live. I received a Cashiers Check drawn on Utah Community Credit Union for $2,880.70. On email, I received instructions to withhold $200 for myself, spend $50 at Walmart, and sent the remaining amount less Western Union fee on to the next Secret Shopper. I deposited the cashiers check into my checking account on October 3, and shopped at Walmart later that day. On October 4, I went to the bank, withdrew $2,630.70 in cash and went to a Western Union outlet and sent the cash to the next Secret Shopper.
On October 7, the cashiers check bounced; the cash was gone.
DO NOT BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY ANY SECRET SHOPPER SCAM!

I spend hours writing my in-depth evaluations, making me late for a plane flight. Besides the money, the time meeting the requirements of the scam and subsequent costs are gone forever and cannot be recouped. The scam originated and terminated outside of US borders.
