I received the final compensation notification for an customer appreciation bonanza in the 2nd category. It also contained a check for $985.50 stating that this was the deducted amount from the total winning amount to assist with paying the necessary Government applicable fees on the winnings. This screamed scam! But I wanted to believe because this money would be a really welcomed change of luck. So after contacting Barbara Brown, I cashed the check but did not deposit into my account for fear of a scam.
