Hughesnet is a scam! If you use your alloted downloads "Fair Access Policy" they slow down your internet service. Slow it down=you cant load on any internet site period! AND the "slow down time" is 24 HOURS! And Hughesnet is the one who determines if you use your alloted downloads. I was NEVER, EVER informed I wouldnt be able to use my internet service for 24 hours. This is a thief of services, puniushable by law. I rather use Dial-Up because its faster (how sad when I paid Hughesnet triple the amount of any past companies for internet service). I moved to an area where I had no choise. I have read my contract & cannot find anywhere on there about the 24 TIME OUT PERIOD, they do mention FAIR ACCESS POLICY okay I get that. Everytime I see their commerical on tv I get furious, its so false! Warning do not sign up for this service, its a nightmare!
