PMI-The Insiders Edge
Consumer Report

I signed up for a real estate class which cost approximately $3,000. They pay for your room at a nice hotel and they have 3 days of classes. You really do not learn anything new if you are familiar with Real Estate and have gone through the buying and sellilng process. They do sell you on the idea that it is so easy and you can just call them anytime to walk you through the steps of a deal. So you feel you are a team member with other people who all will make loads of money in the real estate market together. They guarantee you will make your tuition back. Only to find out there is a time limit and an unreasonable amount of back up you have to provide them and then it can take up to 90 days for them to review all of it. If you make $3,000 on your deal, they do not pay you. They only guarantee that you can make this much with no trouble at all. When they have you under their spell of it costs money to make money, but you can just stay in your poor financial situation and do nothing - they want you to sign up for another class which includes Insiders real estate deals along with Boots on the Ground and Proptrend an online program that has real estate deals all over America, hotel room and airfare to Vegas (for a couple) I am only single and some other stuff... This new class costs anywhere from $19,999 up to $24,999. They guarantee that you will make your money back or they will pay it back to you. I signed up as I was in a situation where I needed to make a job change. What happened during the first week after the first class just stopped me in my tracks from being able to continue my education with this company. I called to cancel on May 5th which was more like 9 days after the class to cancel. I explained why and of course they talked me into staying on and I could attend a later class. I was not within their 3 day cancellation period. I had only paid $14,000 on my amex. A few days later I got a call and they wanted more payment as I was not done paying them and I told them that I had to get money from my 401k and refinance my home. I told the guy that I had $2,000 available on a credit card. The guy did not put it on the card that I told him about. He put the charge on my original credit card for $2,500. I finally checked out the Proptrend cd. Hiddenlistings.com has a much better online service then proptrend. That is when I became suspicious. I started looking into this company and I could have just paid $29.99 for Dean Graziosi instead of $4,000 plus $16,500! In the AARP magazine, there was an article on "Where did my $30,000 go" and it outlined another real estate class. How stupid to pay so much for so little. Any academic institution will refund your tuition even after you have been in their class for half of a semester if you have valid reasons for dropping the class. I had very valid reasons. I got fired from my job and I was unable to refinance my house because of the charges on my credit card, no longer having a job, and I also became ill. I am now on disability. My mortgage is $1300 a month and I get $1400 a month.in the meantime, I thought I had until November to put all of my notes together for the credit card company but I just found out that they decided to pay "The Evolution Group". I have no idea who these people are. I guess they need to change their name to keep ahead of the complaints. I have no way of paying the credit card company. If there is anyone out there who wants to attend the seminar in my place let me know. I am not well enough to attend and then ride them until they fulfill the money back. Two people can attend in my place. Before I became ill, I can go after deals 24/7 and I know how to find good deals, but I no longer have any finances to back me and depression really sucks. I don't think any hard money lenders would want to get involved. I am sure you can make $20,000 easily on a real estate deal, but this company just makes up scenarios of how easy it is to make money. If everything falls into place no problem in a perfect world! But there is no reason for anyone to pay this huge amount of money to find great real estate deals. PMI Evolution Group and the Insiders Edge are a spin-off scam and they use reputable people to get you to go along with their over priced class. They even try and get you to pay more money to take another class at the end of the Vegas class. The next Insiders Edge class is during the first week of November 93rd, 4th and 5th i believe at the Hard Rock Hotel.
