Ridgewood Bushwick serves maybe 2% of black people in my area, I would like to start of with the Restore Program, I was called on November 9 by supervisor of Housing in Ridge wood bushwick, after 2 years asking for help, he stated Ms. Amos I got good news for you, after two years and my ceiling falling to the floor, he decides he was going to help me, I am a person with multi disabilities, home bound at the time, and my traveling is limited, Supervisor from Housing Department and Secretary came to my home, but before they came to my home, they sent contractor. I knew there was something not right about this contractor, because he only came with 5 buckets, 4 cans of tar, 2 cans of White Paint to seal it, I called supervisor of Ridgewood Bushwick Housing Department, and asked him did the contractor Harvey had a license, I was ignored by Supervisor,
I called the Supervisor many times telling him what this contractor was doing, this was a 7,500 dollar Job, stated Supervisor of Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Citizens Council, I did not get the contact or my Deed and personal papers until Ed Fonta which now is retired told them to send it, when I first spoke to Ed Fonta in the month of Febuary ED Fonta said he was going to get to the bottem of this, I called him back in August or July, he said he was going to handle it, it is now Oct 1 before Ed Fonta retired, he never return any of my calls, 8 months there was no investigation, but there is still no warranty, I called the state I was referred to Allen William, which refuse to take any off my calls, I called him more than 5 times and left a message, I spoke to Barry Wollener Supervisor of Restore program, its been a month, and he never got back to me, I left him a message I never received any call, the worked which was claim to be done by JI Liberty Construction company, as per contractor, JL Liberty stated he never signed this contract, knew nothing about this Job, and someone stole his license,
I requested Inspectors, I was denied, on contract states that Inspectors came to my house, which is a lie, signed by Housing Department JM Initial, On the contract its signed as JM, this is not the contractors name, the contractor from Ridgewood Bushwick is not the same contractor; who did the chimney, or roof, Harvey s contractor stuffed garbage bags around the shoot going out on the roof, because of the leak, the wood was rotten, that is left the same, Harvey he never asked the worker to take the old tar paper off, he never put in a guitar for the roof is now sinking, Harvey was Hired by Ridgewood Buswick he claimed there was a damage Chimney and Harvey the contractor claim he fixed it, he never fix my Chimney its the same way it was before, because I am a black american and I complain against Ridgewood Bushwick which is a Latino Area, Administration, they were all going to ignore me, because I filed a complaint, they were rude, and disrespectful, I am now accountable for 7,500 dollars, which the Job was a fraud, and contract a forgery, of people who supervise the area where I live, I am really up set because these administrators who work for the city, is allowing this to take place, which is a crime against the city, because of the color of my race, all the agency that are listed with Ridgewood Buswick has joined together nevertheless I hold the fraudulent contract signed by the fraudulent himself, this is a cover up.
