Imac 1 1/2 year old: OSX SNOW LEOPARD [8700 Isrtaeli shekel]. From the very beginning dvd or cd could not be properly loaded and played with the program that came with the Imac [DVD player]. After changing the DVD "holder" hardware, [which was defect! ] still not functional. This all within the guarantee period was sent home with the message that the DVD'S ][all of them ] were not proper working! NO problem with the Mac. No interest from Mac to solve the problem in any way.
Interdigital Israel claims that they[ Apple] are not responsible for any soft ware even if from the very beginning a simple feature like playiong dvd's [ specially FOR mac] could not be used [again: the dvd player came installed with the Imac]. As it seems imac seems just to be sold as a piece of steel and Apple [ Israel? ] is absolutely not interested in any fair service.in the meantime all other kind of possible problems showed up and of course it will be all software! The Imac is standing in a corner unused.
I bought again a new PC! They seem to be totally incompetent and only interested in selling macs which i admit is a great machine if it works. I never dealt with such a misplaced proud from any company.
