This happened a few weeks ago:
I purchased a groupon for "up to" 5 hrs of cleaning from good elves. Spoke with and had multiple emails from owner. She assured me this was a TOP to BOTTOM cleaning. We also confirmed a day (a thursday). I had my sons birthday party the next day. I even emailed her the day before the cleaing appt day and told her that I would be about 15 minutes later than expected, and to change the arrival time of the cleaners. I also let her know I had an appt so I would need them to arrive within a certain window to get to my appt. She confirmed and everything was definitely set. SO I THOUGHT.
Thursday, 9:30 am came and went. I needed to leave by 10. I call her close to 10 and ask how close they are. She replies, "oh, I thought we were coming tomorrow?" Now, I have multiple emails showing I needed Thursday and she even replied "we are set for Thursday". So, I don't know where the confusion came in! She then tells me someone will be out by noon. I won't be home at noon so I hestitanly tell her I will just leave door open. I get HOME from my appt at 2pm - and still - no one there!!! I leave to get my kids from school - I call her.."oh, they are coming.."
A MAN calls me at 3pm..."we are on the way and need directions". After many calls of them being lost, they call to tell me they arrive at 330. Now, I have to keep my kids out of the house while the house is cleaned - not convinent. She sends TWO young MEN to my house. A women alone with kids with two men is NOT professional at all! I was very uncomfortable. After a few hours they were done, and I was just DONE with the day. Yes, they swept and mopped, vacummed, and kind of cleaned the bathrooms. BUT there was NO dusting, no baseboard cleaning, no fans cleaned, front of fridge not touched. My shower stall looked exactly the same - I had to clean after they cleaned.
I was disguested. I emailed her to see if she would make it right and still no response. It's been over a week.
HORRIBLE experience.
