On 5-2 I put a sizeable downpayment on a complete garage package to Eastern Outdoors in Asheboro NC. I was told it would be 3 to 6 weeks before completion. I waited 2 weeks and then called them. Left them a message to call me back. Waited another 2 weeks called again left them a message that legal action was forthcoming they called me back that afternoon stating that the weather was holding them up. I told them that we had no weather problems where I lived.
They told me I could get my own contractoer to pour my concrete pad for my garage. I did called them back left a message that the pad was poured. After several days they called me back. Told me that they would be contacting me on the date they would be installing the garage. This went on until 6-25 I then filed complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Greensboro NC. They did nothing but send them a letter. Continued to call Eastern Outdoors on a daily bases to no avail. Left messages no returned calls from them.
On 7-18 got a phone call from them that my garage was in being prefabed that day and I would be contacted later on that week. Never happened called and called. 8-8 called them and was told that they wwere having a meeting the next day about the buildings that need to be taken care of mine was one of them. 8-15 filed complaint with State Attorney Generals Office. 8-31 was told by their office that communication with Eastern Outdoors that my garage would be put up by 1st week of September.
As of Monday 9-12 my garage is not up and they are no longer located in Asheboro NC. There are a lot of us who have been scammed by this company. Do not have anything to do with Jesse Black or his Brother Arron Black they are scam artist and Jesse has a record in Virginia for fraud. A his brother Aaron Black was a police officer. Stay away from these people what ever they try to sell you.
