I went to Price Chopper. I was trying to buy a 24pk of Tecate beer. At the time to pay, the cashier ask me for my ID and i showed her my Consular Identification. She called her manager and they told me that my ID was invalid. Then i went back to my house to take my passport and my Visa Card. Because i'm not from USA, i'm from Mexico. I'm a tourist. I went back to the store and tried to buy the beers again but now with my official identifications. The cashier called her manager again. Then one of them looked at my passport sating "no.'" He said he don't sell the beers, i don't know what this is. I said is my passport, i'm not from here. You should take my passport as my ID. And he just told me, i don't care where you are from here is America and i need a Kansas ID. Then i told him, well, i'm not American i'm a tourist. I just have my passport and my Visa Card. He make fun of me in front of everyone, telling me you can not do anything about it. And i said, i don't need to be American just to buy a beer. He said "yes, you need to be American." He was rude with me and i don't think he was right. I felt discriminated. I'm not going back there to make any purchase. I told my family and friends about it and neither will buy nothing in that store.
