Employers beware!
Mr. Jesse Bravo came to our company in 2009 to be a W9 installer. While working for us, we sent him THOUSANDS of dollars in equipment and material. Of course we make all of our employees fill out non-disclosures and take copies of their personal information. While on a deployment contract, he purposely botched jobs and made our company look TERRIBLE! Obviously this wasn't immediate, otherwise he would have been "weeded" out. We as a company never did a background check on Mr. Bravo because up front, he seemed mild, and very trustworthy. About 6 months into working with us, he started the "games". At first we thought, "OK, honest mistakes..." Until EVERY job site had a complaint! Eventually, solely because of Mr. Bravo, we lost the contract. Not knowing that Jesse was a Morover employee, the contractor hired him to finish out the job. Mr. Bravo NEVER returned ANY of the tools we sent out, roughly 15k in merchandise, and about $1000 in material, and finished out the contract that he scammed with them. Mr. Bravo has YET to return ANY of the equipment, and because he resides in Indianapolis, and we are in Kentucky, the authorities say there's nothing that we can do. As far as Non-Disclosures are concerned, try bringing that in front of a busy judge. It turns out, this is not the first time this man has done this. I networked with a few people, and if we would have done our research, we would have found this out. Don't make the same mistake WE did...
