My husband got a loan online from a company that confirmed today they are in no way affiliated with PMTPROTECT.
On 8/30 there was a $30.00 debit from our bank account at ONB in Tulsa, OK. I called my bank and they informed me it was an ACH debit from PMTPROTECT with a phone number of 866-233-8422. I will have to complete a 'dispute form' from my bank.
I called the toll free number listed above and finally got through to a live person. She told me they are not a loan company, that the fee was a service charge because they located a company that would loan us $500.00. I did not authorize anything to be taken from my account. I read online from others that also had the same debit that was not authorized.
