Not sure if they're going to try and hit my card with any charges, but I believe they have my credit card info, which I never gave them. Called and claimed that I had agreed to subscribe to magazines, and said that I could cancel but that I would still have to pay for some outrageous amount of magazines because they had "already paid the publishers on my behalf." It is senseless to try and argue with the people on the phone, they have obtained information about you illegally and are trying to trick or bully you into authorizing charges to your card. The best thing to do is to tell them you never agreed to anything, never will agree to anything, that you will dispute any charges they make against your card, and that they should never call you ever again. Afterwards, be sure to contact your credit card company and let them know what happened, and request a new card.
