Joseph Watt @jo. [email protected] of Houston, TX. He placed an add in the California Penny Saver online for Pug Puppies. He indicated that the puppies had been AKC registered, chipped, wormed, vaccinated, and housbroken.
He wanted to know if I was a breeder and that I would not take the puppies to the shelter. He also requested pictures as they grew up. He sent pictures of a puppy that he said that he took last week but I was not happy with the jpeg numbers attached to the pictures which was a red flag as they were numbered 1,2, 3,4. Anyone who understands that when pics are taken the numbers should be higher if constantly taking pictures. My question was why were the pictures a week old if he has the puppies.
Then when I agreed to send the money for two puppies he said that he couldn' accept the money due to his work schedule.
I then received an email from Pets Air Transportation services with the phone number of 409-539-7414. I called the number an discovered that the number is a priviate residence using a Magic Jack number. So then I went online and did a reverse number lookup adn thats when I found the article about another person being defrauded by the same individuals about puppies.
Fortunately, I did not western union any money as I realized that it was a scam.
