Biothera Clinics
Mislead

It is difficult to sum up my complaint; feeling mislead/uninformed is probably the main theme. At the time I was inquiring on the program, my spidey-senses knew better. It cost $4000. When asked questions he couldn't answer, Rod would skirt around the answers, and usually become angry. Anyone looking into this program is probably already desperate and hopeful for anything. I asked specifically, what would happen after the year was over and I wasn't happy with the results; his answer was that he'd be surprised that I wouldn't even need the program after 10 months. At no time was I advised that the real guarantee was that I was guaranteed to have to continue/pay for the program indefinitely. I know all results will differ. I was under the understanding that the program was for a year and I chose to trust that it was not a way to get people in the door/paying and keep them on for life (again, desperation and all that). Rod also advised me that he would be monitoring me continually and adjust the program as needed for best results.

When we met after 9 months, I told him of my disappointment and nothing was done other than for me to continue as I had been for the balance of the year. Additional complaints was that I was only advised after the contract was signed that I was responsible to replace the batteries in the home laser every 3 weeks; and although I was following the program as I had been told (replenish drops every 4 weeks and shampoo/conditioner every 6 weeks); I was later advised that I was using too much product. Also, it matters not to me that the staff/owners don't communicate; but when I asked what the address was to the head office, I was told they didn't know; I've now received the letter declining the refund request and the letter states to only address the Edmonton office (in writing only, so they may also no longer be aware of their phone number or contact information for either branch). The letter wasn't signed by anyone either.
