Company did not honor the subscription by not delivering magazines

Wife was approached at the door even though a no-soliciation sign was near the door. Two young people, boy and girl said they were students trying to make some summer money. Wife paid them for 20 issues of Reader Digest in cash on 4/11 and receipt number 418780 was applied. Notation on the receipt indicated that order would go to publisher on 5/16. To this date no magazines have been received even though several emails have been sent and one phone call to the company involved.
