Consumer Report

I bought a new "used" car from the above named company and when collecting the car on the 29th of july i noticed the engine warning light was on but having only had a car previously made in 1993 i was completely oblivious to what this car was having just been sold this car i pressumed there would be no problems therefore this light was supposed to be there! On arrival home my mate had a look at my car and informed me of what this light was, i called the garage immediately and they requested to see the car the following day, they then said they had fixed it although the light reappeared after they had "fixed" it not just 3 times but 4 times and they stated it was different problems each time... At what point should a car that has been MOT'd serviced and roat tested have all these problems within a period of what can only be 50 miles of driving over a week? I have owned the car for 12 days now and it has been in thegarage for 11 of those days, i have requestedf on two occassions that they take the car back and reimburse me my money "finanace package" but they have twice refused and said they will not take the car back as they are fixing it free of charge... Its under warantee! I now feel i am trapped with this car and feel they are not treating me within trading standards.
