Received a letter in the mail from Concord Financial Groups and Consultants stating that I had won a sweepstakes for $49,000 dollars and that a check was included with the letter for $3,985 dollars to cover fees and taxes, supposedly they got my information from my email address and it was on the letter, which was addressed to me but the check was made to my first and last name except to a different address.
Also their phone number does not match that of the business they claim to be or the listing on the better business bureau, also the envelope has a postdata from Canada makes it suspicious if they mailed from Chicago unless they have a mail service. The Check is made from Concord Confections and that is an actual company but have been unable to contact anyone there to verify this claim.
