I was considering purchasing a game from gamefly because I had 2 coupons for $5 off due to their rewards system. I had recently downloaded the gamefly app for Android phones and went to make the purchase using it. The app provided no prompts in order for you to use your coupons so I immediately attempted to cancel the order. I figured if i alerted gamefly of the problem with the app I should have my funds returned to my account so I could reorder to use my coupons. I sent emails to their customer support to alert them of the problem. It seems everything about this company is to avoid customer contact. They were trying to give me $5 off of the game the total of one coupon. The other coupon expired the following day the order was placed so by thinking I would get a total of $10 off of the game I used the app. I spoke with someone in customer support and their reply was basically to return the game to them for the refund. Returning the game to them is in violation of their own terms of service which is keep the games you rent for as long as you want. I feel I should be refunded for this game and still maintain the option of keeping it as long as I want.By not settling this dispute with me without me sending the game back until I'm done with it sounds like fraud in my book!
