I received a text message after 9:00 pm marked from: AT&T Wireless. Subject: URGENT. It stated that for security reasons to reply back to verify my billing zip code. I called AT&T customer service. They told me that 1. AT&T does not send messages after 8:00 pm and 2. That message did not come from AT&T and do not reply to it. I'm not sure what would have happened had I verified my zip, but it probably would not have been good. I just wanted to let others know about this as text messaging scams are becoming more and more common.
