I have shopped with this retailer for years.in June I ordered 2 T-shits, the same catalog item I have purchased for years. I have always been very satisfied with these shirts. They wash and wear well and the necks always keep their shape.
However, with the June order I was surprised to see the shirts fade and show a purple tint to their collar after only one wash. After the second wash, they faded again and one shirt lost the printed tag inside the back collar of the shirt.
In July I ordered a replacement pair of shirts to see if the quality had improved. When I unpacked one shirt I noticed the collar was much bigger than any of the previous shirts. I suspect the company has changed suppliers in order to save money. I returned the replacement shirts immediately and will now look for another source.
It is unfortunate when a clothing store decides to cut corners.in this case they lost a 15 year customer.
