I recieved an e-mail from a Corporate Design thru Career Builder stating that they had seen my resume on career builder and was interested in me becoming a potential employee (Payment Specialist) and if I was to fill out an application and forward it to them, which I did, I got a reply back stating that my application was accepted and the position also, all i needed to do is fill out a contract aggreement sign it and return it back, I sign the contract.
The contract aggreement was that they would have there customers here in the USA send me a check, money order, cashier check & cash it, I wil get 12% plus a bonus on how fast I cashed it
and send the remaining amount to them, the reason it was done like that was because they were overseas and it will take up to 30 days for them to cash a USA check and if it was done in USA it would be much faster the USA customer will probably be more inclined to send overseas because of the time it will take to cash the check, which made since to me and also since i apply for the position on Career Builder I assume it was a real company they had a web-site corp-design.com and even reps [email protected] (Juilo Mendez) phone & fax #'s for both companies, anyway they send me two checks totaling 3,960.00 I put them in the bank and the bank put the money into my account, and I sented the money to the company minus the 12% via western union the one week later BANG i got a letter from the bank indicating that the accounts cound not be found, and of cause I tried getting in contact with Mr. Mendez of Corporate Design but of cause he never responded. Now I have to paid the bank back what can I do, I reported to the necessay agencies. Please advise, I do have copies of the reciepts & e-mails if that help, I can not upload only because I do not know how
