On Sunday July 10, I placed an order for couch-cushion panels that were listed for $14.99 plus $7.99 for shipping and handling, for a total of $22.98. As I went through the process, I was offered additional materials which I specifically declined. I continued with the order and suddenly discovered I had been charged for those additional materials without even a chance to review the outrageous total of $66.79! The service provided absolutely no way to cancel or change the order. I attempted to do so by telephone this morning as soon as business hours began and was told the order had already been sent, after having been originally informed it would take two to three weeks to arrive. Customer service stated there was nothing they could do about it, except to discount 10% of the order. What is the point of that? Whenever I have ordered anything online I have always had the opportunity to review the order before submitting payment. This, unfortunately, was not the case here. I have since checked customer complaints and found similar, and even worse experiences with this provider and their customer-service personnel. Please advise, Nancy Scott.
