Was at the Linden NJ Target store with my 2 girls and amongst my purchases I had 2 tubes of trial size toothpastes along with 2 coupons for them. First the cashier gave me a smug look... Ugh coupons, then told me I couldn't use the coupons since they're trial size and it said it on the coupon. I told her that she should read the coupon and that no where on the manufacturers coupon says trail size. The then walked over to the supervisor and the supervisor came back with another challenge... This is one per person. I then said, no where on the coupon says that and she then said those are the rule. Now, she is making up rule. I then told her I'll pay for it separately if you can't have it on the same transaction, my daughter will pay for it. She the proceed to tell me "YOUR DAUGHTER DOESN'T COUNT". Excuse me, the last time i checked, she has a pulse and basically, you're just telling me you don't want my business over this. 75 cent coupon. Yes, one. 75 cent coupon!!! I then told her I want to speak to her boss and her manager was just as bad as her. I said what would be the difference if I come in tomorrow and buy this product? He said you can try. Well, that's very un customer service like. When I told him I will contact customer service for being unreasonable and rude, he chuckled as if Target corporate doesn't care. I hope that is not the case. I've had a diffent dealing with him on a previous visit and Adam is unprofessional. The floor sales associate is much more helpful and works a lot hard than him. The floor associates actually cares about customer service... Too bad not the manager. If they don't want to deal with manufacturers coupons, they should just not take any at all instead of harassing them.
