I am now having leg pain as a result of the slip and slight fall on your Penn Jersey property a few hours ago that resulted in breakage of a glass coffee container that was in my bag as I left the store and went to pump my gas. I am lucky I was not cut by the glass. Prior to going to ythe PJ store and slipping and twisting my leg, I had not problems with my leg. I will be going to the doctor tomorrow to see if there are any injuries as a result of the slip on wet surface at your place of business (that was not the result of rain). The cashier at the store, who was speaking very negatively of a previous customer as I entered, was shown the broken glass conainer but told me it was "not her fault" that I slipped and broke the coffee so I'd have to pay for another when I asked if I could just get a replacement. She was very rude and in defense I then became rude to her. I asked her for the owner's name and phone number. I called to tell him that I slipped on his property and that was the reason for the breakage of my glass purchase — which makes total sense but, per our conversation, he did not care about a customer who had just slipped on his property and who had asked for a replacement of a $2.99 purchase. He also told me it was not his fault that I slipped because it was outside of the store.

Actually, at that time I was not feeling any pain and just wanted what I went in to the store for: a cold coffee. I didn't want any trouble — just my gas and coffee! My normal (daily) purchase of cold coffee at PJ is in a can but these were not stocked which resulted in me buying the Starbuck glass container. I paid and went to pump my gas. When slipping, I twisted my leg but it did not bother me immediately and, at that time, I just wanted a cool coffee and my gas and to be on my way! Unfortunately, my leg now does hurt very much, which is oftencommon for an injury (delayed bruising and pain). If there is a tear or sprain or anything else, I will contact my lawyer who will be in touch with Aman. Please feel free to contact me. I will not call the store of Aman again but would like him to know of my injury and the seriousness of this slip/fall/glass breakage. Please let me know what your role in this is and whether I need to contact any other agencies to report such extremely poor customer service and lack of regard for a customer's safety.
