Everybody knows that the trucking industry is short as it is. The employers (the big ones) keep you poor and broke and treat you like shit most the time. Why do they do this?

From what I have heard all companies like
SWIFT, SCHNIDER, WERNER, JBHUNT, Could use some unions.
I don't mean put the screws to them but Ido think they have more control then what they should over individuals and nobody is watching your brothers back currently and that means nobody is watching yours.
Get your shit together and be a man, Stop whinning or do something about it as a group.
